Pink is the Drink of Summer

Finally, the summer is almost here! Just think of those long, hot evenings outside in the garden where a chilled glass of sparkling Pink is the perfect way to cool down in style after a warm day.

Whether you’ve got the girls around for a gossip after work; or the sun has come out and you’re hosting an impromptu barbecue with buddies and bubbles, Pink is the perfect partner to good food and great company.

A lighter bodied, refreshing sparkling rosé wine with an affordable price tag, Pink makes celebrating the sunshine that much easier!

Pink is a delicious Australian sparkling rosé wine by Yellowglen. The blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz grapes sourced from vineyards in South-Eastern Australia creates a wonderful tasting sensation leaving a delicate drop of berry in your mouth.

Pink is so versatile and is a great match to lighter barbecue foods, the citrus notes in Pink are ideal in enhancing seafood flavours, where as the underlying fruity hints of Pink are an excellent match for leaner meats such as chicken. If you have room for dessert then why not opt for a raspberry tart, sorbet or fruit compote, which works perfectly with Pink!

Pink is available from Sainsbury’s and Asda priced at £6.99 so you can pop in over the hopefully hot summer months, stock up and enjoy!

Winemaking: Made with a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay base wine blend, the fruit for this wine is sourced from vineyards throughout South-Eastern Australia.

Winemaker: Charles Hargrave

Cellaring: Best consumed chilled when young and lively.

Suggested food: Pop open ‘Pink’ for that leisurely Sunday brunch. Have ‘Pink’ with a creamy pasta and salad for a fun, girls only lunch. Serve with seafood for a romantic dinner or just enjoy ‘Pink’ by itself for an exciting night out, or a quiet night in.
