Hamelin Paperbrands moves to Red Lodge
Hamelin Paperbrands, formerly known as John Dickinson Stationery and best known for producing brands such as Oxford’s Black and Red and Basildon Bond, is moving its office from Sawston to Red Lodge. Hamelin Paperbrands will occupy their brand new purpose-built £10m head quarters, warehouse and distribution centre in Red Lodge, Suffolk from June 2008.
The new site will accommodate over 70 members of staff bringing fantastic career opportunities to the local area.
“We are very excited about our new location,” said Philip Beer, managing director of Hamelin Paperbrands. “Re-positioning the business was a significant decision after trading under the John Dickinson name for over 200 years, and the name change is great opportunity to align ourselves with our innovative and forward-thinking parent company, a company that is well regarded throughout Europe.
“But more importantly, the investment in our superb new warehousing and distribution facility will enable us to improve our control of the supply chain and drive an increasingly better service to our customers.”
